Given that most of our holiday plans were cancelled this year, I have been spending some time going back through old photos, reminiscing about past travels. In doing so, I realised I never really got the chance to share some of my favourite shots from Lech, Austria where we have joined Rory’s family for their yearly ski holiday the past two winters.
It is an absolutely glorious place to visit and I feel so fortunate to have had the opportunity to snowboard there (word on the street is Lech is the ski holiday destination of the Dutch Royal Family). We stay at the Hotel Rote Wand — a beautiful family owned and run four star hotel at the base of the mountain in Zug. I would highly recommend it if you’re planning a holiday for next season and want to treat yourself. The food is incredible, the service is top notch and the facilities are luxurious, yet cozy. It’s precisely what I want in a hotel when I’m on a ski holiday!
